Windows Runs a Batch File in Task Scheduler

Steps on Windows 8.1

  1. Right Click “This PC”->Manage->Task Scheduler, and find  Create Tasktaskscheduler
  2. General tab: Enter a name,  select “Run whether user is logged on or not” and check “Run with highest privileges”
  3. Triggers Tab: set it based on needs
  4. Actions Tab: Click New, Action:Start a program, Program/script: e:\liuzy163\test.bat, Start in(optional): e:\liuzy163 (critical, especially if you need to change directories in the batch file)
  5. Click OK to schedule it
